How to use this resource:

This resource is designed to be laminated and used as a concrete learning tool.

You may feel using counters, buttons, mini plastic fruit etc. more effective than the paper ones

Instructions:

Laminate for extra strength.

Cut out the picnic food.

Children will look at how 4 can be made out of by placing different amounts on the two plates.

Encourage the children to find all of the different ways the strawberries can be shared and then the sandwich etc.
