Description
This Spring themed Year 5 wordsearch is a purposeful literacy activity designed to support spelling accuracy, vocabulary development and contextual understanding. It is ideal for use during SPaG lessons, early finisher time, revision activities or homework.
The vocabulary has been carefully selected to be appropriate for Year 5 pupils, with words also suitable for Year 6 learners as a consolidation or revision activity. This makes the resource flexible and useful across upper Key Stage 2.
Words can appear horizontally, vertically or diagonally, and may be hidden in both forward and backwards directions. This level of challenge is well suited to Year 5 learners, encouraging careful scanning, pattern recognition and accurate spelling.
