Spotlight Y2 Count in 2s, 5s and 10s with Ten Frames

Spotlight Sheets: focused practice, one question type at a time Within a single small step, pupils often meet a range of question types. For many children this provides valuable challenge. For others, moving between question types can make it harder to secure the underlying concept. Spotlight Sheets address this by isolating one question type at a time. Pupils can practise it with focus, develop fluency and build confidence before moving on to mixed questions. They are well suited to targeted intervention, same-day catch-up, or any pupil who benefits from a more focused approach. Differentiated in three ways Sheet 1: Supported: Number tracks for counting in 2s, 5s and 10s are given, and the pictures start from the first group. Sheet 2: Core: There are no number tracks. The pictures start part way through, and the 10s count backwards. Sheet 3: Extended: Some sequences count backwards, and pupils draw the missing counters before writing the numbers.
