For more information, email: [email protected]

Please note that our membership packages are governed by the Terms and Conditions, and in addition, the following conditions apply. If there is a breach of any of the general Terms and Conditions, your access to the service may be immediately suspended pending investigation. The reinstatement of your account is at our absolute discretion.

Payments and refunds:

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express as explained on the order form. Our Terms of payment are: payment in full before any goods or services can be received.

Credit/Debit Card: When enrolling in our paid membership plans, you will be prompted to input your credit/debit card details through our secure SSL-protected checkout form. Your selected payment method will be charged annually or monthly, as per your preference.

Cheques are not accepted as a form of payment.

By agreeing to these Terms, you are confirming that the information you provide for using the Digital Content is accurate. Also, you acknowledge that the payment card you use belongs to you, and there are enough funds to cover the cost of the ordered Digital Content.

You commit to using any Digital Content ordered solely for your private or domestic use, without any intention of resale or sub-licensing.

Please be aware that Digital Content is non-refundable, whether in part or in full, meaning you can't seek reimbursement for acquired data. Additionally, once purchased, Digital Content cannot be exchanged for another without payment. To obtain new Digital Content, a separate purchase is required.

Renewal payments, automatically debited as per your subscription (either annually or monthly), are also non-refundable. We send annual renewal reminders via email. Monthly memberships will receive a monthly reminder, 7 days before payment is due to be taken. It is your responsibility to manage your membership and ensure timely cancellation if you do not wish to renew.

We will take all reasonable measures to keep your order and payment details secure. However, unless there is negligence on our part, we cannot be held responsible for any loss you may experience if a third party gains unauthorised access to the data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website.

Cancellation can be accomplished through your account management page or by contacting us before your next renewal date. Once a subscription has been activated or a downloadable resource has been purchased, no refunds will be issued and all sales are final. We do not issue refunds where a subscription renews automatically and you have not cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellations are processed in accordance with our cancellation procedure; we reserve the right to apply a structured cancellation process, which may include a retention offer, before a cancellation is confirmed.

Important: We are not responsible for subscription renewals that occur because you did not update your email address or contact details. It is your responsibility to keep your account information current. If your subscription renews because your payment details or contact information were not updated, this is your responsibility, and if you did not receive communications about it, this does not entitle you to a refund.

Discounts

Discounts may be applied exclusively to the initial year of membership at our discretion. Subsequent renewal payments will be charged at the full membership price prevailing at the time of renewal, unless an exclusive discount has been sent to you directly. Your membership will remain unaffected by any price increases. Subscribers are advised to maintain their recurring payments in order to secure their current membership rate.

Cancellation Rights:

You have the full authority to cancel the Credit/Debit card agreement at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active and accessible until the end of the current billing period. Access will not be reinstated after this date unless a new subscription is purchased. For assistance in cancelling recurring payments, please contact [email protected]

Cooling Off Period:

Given the nature of our website, which primarily involves digital downloads, we do not provide a cooling-off period for paid memberships. Upon activating your membership, immediate access to premium resources is granted. By opting for immediate access, you acknowledge waiving the 14-day cooling-off period. To view premium resources or download content, it is necessary to forfeit any right to a cooling-off period.

Membership Usage Guidelines:

Our website adheres to an acceptable use policy, and user accounts undergo regular monitoring. We implement a weekly download limit of 20 downloads for monthly membership accounts, which is displayed within your account. Downloads unused by the end of the period are forfeited and cannot be carried over. Users consistently reaching their download limit will be subject to review.

We strictly prohibit users from downloading large quantities of resources to 'stockpile' within their weekly quota of 20 downloads. Engaging in such activity will result in account suspension, and the user's intentions will be scrutinised in accordance with our copyright terms and conditions. Our download monitoring system maintains logs of all file downloads, flagging accounts that breach this policy.

Individual accounts are designated for use by a single teacher/user in a single class setting only. If you intend to use our resources in a whole school or multiple class setting, a school subscription is required. Schools should select the plan that best reflects their size and usage needs - Small School, Medium School, Large School, Very Large School, Early Years Add On, or Early Years Only. This applies regardless of the number of teachers or users delivering the content. Any content intended for use in a whole school or multiple class setting must be supported by an appropriate school subscription plan.

Access to individual memberships is restricted to the person registered on the account (the name provided at sign-up) only. The account and membership belong to the named individual and cannot be shared. Content downloaded using a membership is for the named account holder's use only and cannot be shared with others.

Membership Policy on Sharing:

Sharing of accounts with another individual or individuals is strictly prohibited. Each user seeking access to our content must create their own account and maintain an individual subscription. However, we do offer school subscription plans for schools and groups of teachers. These plans - Small School, Medium School, Large School, Very Large School, Early Years Add On, and Early Years Only - provide a personalised usage allowance based on the school's size and needs. For a quote, please contact us through the contact page.

Users are expressly forbidden from downloading files and providing them to any third party. Access to resources is exclusively granted to the subscribing user.

Any user found violating the above terms will face immediate termination of their account without a refund. Additionally, the user may be subject to actions aimed at recovering any damages or losses incurred due to the sharing of their account or downloaded resources.

Our advanced system is designed to automatically detect accounts breaching these terms.

Individual Subscriptions:

Who individual subscriptions are for

  • Individual subscriptions are for personal, professional use by a single named teacher. An individual subscription covers one teacher, one login, and one classroom of up to 30 pupils.
  • Individual subscriptions must be registered under the subscriber’s own name and personal or professional email address. They must not be registered under a school name, shared email, or generic school account.
  • Individual subscriptions are not transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: change of school, redundancy, long-term sickness, or maternity/paternity leave. No exceptions will be made.

Account sharing

  • Individual subscriptions are for one person only. Sharing login credentials, resources downloaded under one account, or access to the platform with any other person is strictly prohibited.
  • If we identify evidence of account sharing - including but not limited to: multiple simultaneous logins, unusual download volumes, or logins from multiple locations - we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the account immediately without refund.
  • You will be required to confirm at the point of purchase that you understand and agree that your account is for individual use only.

Auto-renewal and pricing

  • Subscriptions set to auto-renew will retain their current pricing tier at the time of renewal, provided the subscription remains continuous and active.
  • The annual subscription rate is only available to subscribers on auto-renewal. Subscribers who disable auto-renewal will lose access to this rate. If a subscription lapses, the standard current renewal rate will apply upon reactivation.
  • If you disable auto-renewal and your subscription is not renewed before the expiry date, your account will be cancelled and you will need to purchase a new subscription at the current rate.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any subscription at renewal if we have evidence of account sharing, breach of these terms, or non-compliance with our download policy.

Download limits

  • A weekly download limit of 20 downloads applies to all monthly accounts. This limit exists to protect the integrity of our resource library and ensure fair use across our subscriber community.
  • Your download limit will be displayed within your account. We reserve the right to adjust limits at our discretion.
  • Attempting to circumvent the download limit - including through the use of multiple accounts, automated tools, or any other means - is a breach of these terms and will result in account suspension.

Year group changes

  • Subscribers may change their assigned year group once per year. Year group changes can be made via the account page between 20th July and 1st September each year. Outside of these dates, subscribers must contact us by email at [email protected] to request a year group change.

School Subscriptions:

School licences and pricing tiers

School subscriptions are available in six plans based on the school's needs. Schools should select the plan that best reflects their size and usage requirements. Each plan includes an admin seat for the school's administrative staff who manage account set-up and access, in addition to the named teacher seats:

  • Small School, 1-form entry - 8 team member seats, 7 teaching places plus admin
  • Medium School, 2-form entry - 15 team member seats, 14 teaching places plus admin
  • Large School, 3-form entry - 22 team member seats, 21 teaching places plus admin
  • Very Large School, 4-form entry - unlimited team member seats, no limit on teaching places
  • Early Years Add On - 5 team member seats, 4 teaching places plus admin
  • Early Years Only - 5 team member seats, 4 teaching places plus admin

Pricing for each tier will be communicated directly to schools by our team. Schools will be required to select the tier that accurately reflects their size. Selecting a lower tier than your school size warrants in order to reduce cost is a breach of these terms.

School subscriptions are licences for a single named teacher within a school. They are not whole-school licences unless explicitly purchased as such. Schools must not purchase individual subscriptions on behalf of teachers as a way to share access. Each subscribing teacher must hold their own account.

Payment terms for schools

  • School subscriptions may be invoiced. Invoices are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
  • Payment is due within 45 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within 45 days, the account will be placed on hold and access to the platform will be suspended until the outstanding balance is cleared in full.
  • Purchase orders must be submitted using our official purchase order form, which is available on request. All required information must be provided before an account can be set up.
  • We reserve the right to charge a £25 administration fee for duplicate or erroneous payments.
  • All invoices and payment correspondence must be directed to our finance email: [email protected]
  • If an invoice is required for an individual subscription, a £15 administration fee will apply. Individual subscriptions are otherwise purchased directly online.

Access on cancellation or non-renewal

  • When a school subscription is cancelled or not renewed, all associated user accounts will be deactivated promptly.
  • We reserve the right to remove access immediately upon cancellation or expiry of a school subscription to prevent unauthorised continued use.

Pricing and Quotes:

  • All prices displayed on the website are correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
  • Quotes provided to schools or individuals are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. After 14 days, a new quote must be requested.
  • All subscription prices displayed on the website, including monthly and annual plans, are inclusive of VAT. Quotes provided to schools upon request are exclusive of VAT; VAT will be applied to the final invoice where applicable.

Communication and Contact Details:

  • It is your responsibility to ensure your account email address and contact details are kept up to date.
  • We send all subscription-related communications - including renewal reminders, invoice notices, and T&C updates - to the email address registered on your account.
  • We are not responsible for missed communications where the email address on your account is no longer active, has changed, or has been incorrectly entered.
  • If you change your email address, you must update it in your account settings promptly.

Appropriate Use of Website:

You are prohibited from using our websites in a manner that may cause damage to the site, impair its availability or accessibility, or engage in any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities. Additionally:

  • You are not permitted to use our websites to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree to indemnify Master the Curriculum and commit to holding Master the Curriculum harmless against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including legal expenses and amounts paid by Master the Curriculum for the settlement of a claim or dispute based on the advice of Master the Curriculum legal advisers) incurred or suffered by Master the Curriculum due to any violation by you of these terms and conditions, or any claim asserting such a violation.

Master the Curriculum also reserves the right to remove and discard any content or resources within any of the Services for any reason, including, but not limited to, lack of use or if there is a belief that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the terms outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

In the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the actions described in this paragraph are not the exclusive remedies available to Master the Curriculum and the company may take any other action deemed reasonably appropriate in response to such a breach. Upon account termination or cancellation, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://masterthecurriculum.co.uk/privacy-policy/

Accounts that have shown no login activity for a period of 24 consecutive months will be considered inactive and will be cancelled and permanently deleted without notice. If you wish to use Master the Curriculum following the deletion of your account, you will be required to purchase a new subscription at the rate applicable at that time. This applies to all account types. Please note that whilst inactive accounts are permanently deleted after 24 consecutive months of inactivity, order and invoice records are retained for a period of six years in accordance with HMRC requirements.
