Build Year 3 pupils' understanding of part-whole models with this focused Spotlight pack. Every question practises one skill: describing the whole and the parts of a base 10 part-whole model. Differentiated in three ways: Sheet 1: Supported: The parts are shown as tens and ones, and the whole is given in the number sentence. Sheet 2: Core: The ones are sometimes in the first part, and pupils write the full number sentence. Sheet 3: Extended: One part is base 10, so pupils work out the missing part. Spotlight Sheets focus on one question type at a time, so pupils can practise with confidence before moving on to mixed questions. Ideal for targeted intervention, same-day catch-up or any pupil who benefits from a more focused approach. Answers are included for every sheet. Master the Curriculum is an independent resource provider and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, White Rose Education.
This pack is print and go. Our catalogue does not list an editable copy of it, so none is offered here rather than promising a file nobody has opened. Page counts are not printed either, because we do not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
Our own system, with the star count repeated in every worksheet header so a child can be handed the right sheet without a word.
