Spotlight Y3 What Numbers Are Represented? Place Value Counters

Spotlight Sheets: focused practice, one question type at a time Within a single small step, pupils often meet a range of question types. For many children this provides valuable challenge. For others, moving between question types can make it harder to secure the underlying concept. Spotlight Sheets address this by isolating one question type at a time. Pupils can practise it with focus, develop fluency and build confidence before moving on to mixed questions. They are well suited to targeted intervention, same-day catch-up, or any pupil who benefits from a more focused approach. Differentiated in three ways Sheet 1: Supported: The counters are in order, and pupils count the hundreds, tens and ones first. Sheet 2: Core: The counters are mixed up, and some numbers have zeros.
