Spotlight Sheets: focused practice, one question type at a time Within a single small step, pupils often meet a range of question types. For many children this provides valuable challenge. For others, moving between question types can make it harder to secure the underlying concept. Spotlight Sheets address this by isolating one question type at a time. Pupils can practise it with focus, develop fluency and build confidence before moving on to mixed questions. They are well suited to targeted intervention, same-day catch-up, or any pupil who benefits from a more focused approach. Differentiated in three ways Sheet 1: Supported: A worked hint, with the first number of each factor pair given. Sheet 2: Core: Boxes for each factor pair of numbers up to 150, with no numbers given. Sheet 3: Extended: Pupils write every factor pair themselves and find the highest common factor.
This pack is print and go. Our catalogue does not list an editable copy of it, so none is offered here rather than promising a file nobody has opened. Page counts are not printed either, because we do not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
Our own system, with the star count repeated in every worksheet header so a child can be handed the right sheet without a word.
