This EYFS maths activity for NSPCC Number Day is a fun and engaging way to support early number skills in February. Using a bright ladybird theme, children count spots and match numbers to Numicon pieces, helping them build strong foundations in counting, number recognition and one-to-one correspondence. The resource also includes additional creative tasks, where children count and colour spots and design their own ladybirds by drawing a chosen number of spots. These activities encourage mathematical talk, fine motor skills and creativity while reinforcing key EYFS maths objectives. Perfect for EYFS classrooms, nursery settings and Reception, this resource is ideal for celebrating NSPCC Number Day while keeping maths practical, visual and enjoyable.
This pack is print and go. Our catalogue does not list an editable copy of it, so none is offered here rather than promising a file nobody has opened. Page counts are not printed either, because we do not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
