Spotlight Sheets: focused practice, one question type at a time Within a single small step, pupils often meet a range of question types. For many children this provides valuable challenge. For others, moving between question types can make it harder to secure the underlying concept. Spotlight Sheets address this by isolating one question type at a time. Pupils can practise it with focus, develop fluency and build confidence before moving on to mixed questions. They are well suited to targeted intervention, same-day catch-up, or any pupil who benefits from a more focused approach. Differentiated in three ways Sheet 1: Supported: Part symbols are explained; pupils compare sums of points and draw double a row. Sheet 2: Core: Pupils compare sums of points and draw half a row. Sheet 3: Extended: Pupils compare sums with quarter symbols and draw a third of a row. Please note: Master the Curriculum is an independent resource provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to White Rose Education or White Rose Maths. Our resources are designed to complement the small steps that many schools follow.
This pack is print and go. Our catalogue does not list an editable copy of it, so none is offered here rather than promising a file nobody has opened. Page counts are not printed either, because we do not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
Our own system, with the star count repeated in every worksheet header so a child can be handed the right sheet without a word.
