Something spooky is hiding in the grid! In these five Halloween mystery pictures for Year 3, every square has a multiplication or division fact from the 3, 4 and 8 times tables. Children work out each answer and colour the square using the key to reveal a ghost, a bat flying across the moon, a skull, a pumpkin and a bubbling cauldron. Two pictures use multiplication facts, two use division facts and one mixes both. A wrong colour stands out in the picture, so children can check their own work. What's included: 5 mystery pictures: Ghost, bat with moon, skull, pumpkin and cauldron A teacher information page for each picture Coloured answer pages showing each finished picture Editable PowerPoint and ready-to-print PDF Skills covered: 3, 4 and 8 times tables Division facts Division as the inverse of multiplication Following a colour key Ideal for a Halloween maths lesson, early finishers, a calm afternoon activity, a fluency starter or the last week before half term.
This pack is listed as editable, so the editable copy comes with it. We do not print page counts here, because our catalogue does not publish them and a guessed number is worse than none.
